May 2, 2010 - Update

The Board would like to thank the members who came to help out with the Park Opening on Saturday, May 1.  The weather was less than desired; however, we accomplished what we set out to do.  We did finally get the water running on Saturday after a few trips into Wakaw.  However, it was discovered on Sunday morning that we had some leaks inside the shower house so we had to shut the water off.  We expect to get the water running to the shower house on Saturday, May 8.

Water to the campsites is also running, with the exception of a few.  We suspect that some lines may still be frozen.

The boat compound was  also marked off with site numbers.  Each site is identifyed by black markers along the fence and orange markers on the ground.  Members who have paid for a boat spot can now move their boats into the compound.  Please refer to the map on the PBCOC website to ensure that you park your boat in the correct spot.  If you have not yet received your keys to the boat compound, please see the Park Manager.

At the end of the day, the potluck BBQ was moved to the shop.  There was ample food and it was enjoyed by all.  Stay tuned to this website for future pot luck suppers!

Gate Access Cards

The electrical hookups for the front gate are not yet complete.  Once this is done, we will receive the cards and members can pick them up from the Park Manager.  If you haven't already completed a Membership Contact Information Form, one must be submitted to the Park Manager prior to receiving your cards.  There is no cost for the first card and a $25 deposit for the second card.
