Sad news to share to our Poplar Beach members

It is with a heavy heart that we send out this email.

On Tuesday, our Park Manager John, passed away. He was a wonderful man that absolutely loved his position at the lake. His passion for taking care of us and the land was second to none. His joyful smile will be missed immensely. Our hearts go out to Diane as she goes through this. The love they have/had for our park was visible in every transformation they made to our Campground.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Diane and her family.

We would like to thank the park members that were there for love and support. There were many generous offers from park members to help keep the park operational during this emotional time. It truly shows what a close-knit community we have. Our Lake family has lost a wonderful human being.

The Board will be working hard to fill this position soon. Volunteers and board members will attempt to keep things running in the meantime. Your patience during this transition will be appreciated. Please let us know if you or anyone you know can help fill the gap.
